Roasting coffee started as a hobby while I owned a coffee shop for 13 years. After I sold the shop, it quickly grew beyond what we could drink at home. Before long, our friends and neighbors had more coffee than they could handle, too. So, at the end of 2023, I took the next step: I bought a small 10-pound roaster and founded Carolina Coffee Works.
Our mission is simple: to provide freshly roasted, high-quality coffee to the Charleston area and, hopefully, all of the Carolinas. Each batch is roasted to order with the aim of delivering excellent coffee that you will love and that will hopefully bring you back for more. We believe in quality, community, and the importance of a great cup of coffee.
